Community Office

The Community Office situated in Cill Bhride provides a wide range of secretarial and administration support to the community and local businesses such as leaflets, posters, typing, photocopying at very competitive prices.  We regret to inform you that there is no public internet access or public telephone available in our office.  The opening hours are as follows:

 

Mon: 10.30am - 3pm

 

Tues: 6pm - 9.30pm

 

Weds: CLOSED

 

Thurs & Fri:  9am - 2pm

TEXT Service

Following the results of our recent Community Survey a TEXT service is now available through the KDC. We have a significant number of people already in the service but if you wish to avail of this free TEXT service please contact any member of the KDC or Lynda in the office.

 

Community Alert News

We have been supplied with a number of free smoke alarms by the Fire department of Limerick Co. Council. We also have funding available (for people aged 65 and over) to provide monitored alarm systems which can be used as a medical alarm or as a security system. The company which monitors the system also operate as a social contact facility, i.e. if a person is living alone and they need to talk to somebody they can press the pendant button and they will be immediately in contact with the monitoring station at anytime. Mass is broadcast on Radio Station 106-107fm every morning at 9.30am, on Sunday at 11am and the rosary is broadcast every evening at 7pm.

 

Baptisms are held on Sunday morning or Saturday Evening after Mass.

KILTEELY & DROMKEEN CHURCH:  have new candelabras since last weekend.  Both have been kindly donated - grateful appreciation to the parishioner in Dromkeen and also in Kilteely for your generosity, goodwill and kindness to the parish - it is very much

appreciated.  The candles on the candelabra are smoke free and safe, candle grease falls into a tray containing water and is re-cycled again.  There is no garbage left, very clean, the candles are 25cent each.
